We are a locally owned family Building and Remodeling Company that has served Stark, Summit, and Surrounding Counties throughout Northeastern Ohio for several decades.
Founder and President, Scott McCue has building in his blood! He grew up in and around construction and even recalls attending Sunday open houses as a young boy with his dad, who was the Sales Manager for a local builder. As Scott came of age working in the various trades, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management & Technology from BGSU. Upon graduation, he decided to launch Scott McCue Homes and broke ground on his first new home just a few weeks later.
The company quickly grew from building custom homes and expanded into land development, light commercial and renovation work. To help manage the growth and maintain client relationships, Scott convinced his dad (John) to join SMH full time. Today that same partnership continues with a meticulous standard for listening, caring and building it right - the first time!
When not helping others feel at home in the community where he grew up - or coaching soccer, Scott stays busy at home with his wife (and high school sweetheart), Allison and their four amazing kids.
