Scott McCue Homes has a primary reason for success: its
desire to inform new homebuyers of the construction process.
Purchasing a new home can be made more comfortable through
the New Homebuyer Assurance Program.
This is a scheduled and informative program that consistently
moves through stages to benefit the buyer, assuring knowledgeable
decisions and selections. The New Homebuyer Assurance
Program is a partnership that becomes a pleasant
extension of accountability of Scott McCue Homes.
To ensure your satisfaction with your new home, Scott
McCue Homes includes the following during your construction
and completion process:
Personal Touch Design Center
You will have a personal appointment with a design professional
who will provide you with quality products, color schemes,
high standard materials and innovative options. As one
of the most exciting and fun stages of building a new
home, we will strive to make this a simple and fun process.
Personal Construction Manager
The construction of your new home will be overseen by
your personal construction manager. Your construction
manager will assess the construction process of your new
home and will serve as your personal point of contact
with Scott McCue Homes.
You will meet before ground breaking to discuss important
house plans and to review your construction schedule.
We assure that the start of your home will begin promptly,
and will be built diligently.
A Control “Punch Card”
While your new home is constructed, a Control “Punch Card”
will be posted at the site for your inspection. When each
construction stage is completed, your construction manager
and a Scott McCue Homes Supervisor will sign your Control
“Punch Card”. This sense of satisfaction and completion
by the new home buyer is at the heart of the Scott McCue
Homes New Buyer Assurance Program.
New Home Orientation
When your new home comes to completion, you will do a
“walk through” with your construction manager. This will
include the interior and exterior, and your construction
manager will explain the operation of appliances, heating
and cooling systems, special wiring, and will answer any
questions you might have. Your construction manager will
note anything that needs to be addressed and any agreed
upon changes.
Prior to settlement, you will meet again with your construction
manager to go over any final questions or concerns. At
your meeting, you will be shown how to care for your new
home and what to expect.
